Diablo 4: Scosglen Complete Guide (Scosglen Map)

In Diablo 4, the estuary is made up of five zones, the currently explorable areas of the sanctuary. Players usually start at Broken Peak, but as one of the three areas below level 30, Scosglen usually becomes the second main destination early in the game. Skogren is the home of the Druids and the fireproof manor of Dornan, with Seriga as its main hub. Players can prepare enough Diablo IV Gold in the game.

While players will naturally end up here in Diablo 4's second act, there are plenty of side objectives here to complete the Scosglen map and gain prestige - such as Lilith's Scosglen altars, fortresses, countless crypts, and unique elite encounters and buildings - to appeal to the defining aspects of all professions (not just druids) to embrace its many dungeons.

All Lilith Altars in Skoglund
Lilith Altars grant a small permanent bonus when found and do not need to be found again on another character. The rewards are small - +2 Attributes, +5 Max Obols, or a single Paragon Point are common rewards - but with a total of 160 rewards in the game, they quickly add up to a huge amount of power.

In Skogren, there are a total of 34 Lilith Altars. The fastest way to reach all of Skogren's Lilith Altars is to start at the entrance to the Broken Peak in the southeast of the area. Travel west and then circle back east and loosely through the area in a counter-clockwise direction. Once you reach the west coast, return and head to Serega to pick up those who have fallen behind.

Skoglund Map Dungeon Locations
Diablo 4 has story dungeons as well as spinoff dungeons, but only the spinoff dungeons are important in terms of map completion. Story dungeons only appear during the campaign and are essentially one-off experiences. Most of the side dungeons in Diablo 4 reward the player with an aspect of the codex upon completion, and Scosglen has many powerful aspects available.

Scosglen has a total of 25 side dungeons, but access to a handful of them is only available after the relevant fortress has been completed. It is a good idea to keep these fortresses to world level 3 or 4, as they can increase XP (due to generation rates and forced level differences).

All strongholds in Skoglund
All areas in Diablo 4 have three fortresses that can be conquered to restore settlements or simply remove the presence of evil entities from the area. Fortresses offer short story-based quests that are always two levels higher than the player and award 100 prestige points in the area where they are found.

There are three fortresses in Scosgren: Muldan's Hut in the northeastern part of the region, Tuldura in the eastern part of Scosgren (also an important location for the Druid profession) and Light of Hope, a lighthouse on the far northern coast.

Where to find every Scosglen waypoint
Waypoints are not only important for fast travel and easy access to Diablo 4's timed world events, but they also reward prestige when discovered. Some waypoints sit there waiting to be activated with no prerequisites, but a few can only be unlocked after completing a fortress or other objective.

In Skogren, there are eight waypoints. Most waypoints can be unlocked simply by finding them, with the exception of the waypoint in Tuldura, which can only be unlocked after conquering the fortress of the same name.

All Skogren Cellar locations
The cellars in Diablo 4 are very short-sided "dungeons" located in individual rooms. Once the player enters the cellar, they are given a semi-random objective to complete. These range from simply killing everything that spawns in a regular treasure chest to a version of the world event that may earn a mastery bonus. There is also a small chance of generating three Treasure Goblins instead of an event.

Scosglen has a total of 26 cellars, spread fairly evenly throughout the area, with no meaningful "best routes". Instead, it's a good idea to complete the cellars during the game's main campaign, as they aren't always worth stopping at the end game of World Level 3 and 4.

Each Diablo 4 region has an area specifically assigned for World Chiefs. World Bosses in Diablo 4 spawn on a relatively regular schedule, and there are a number of websites dedicated to tracking when the next World Boss spawns, such as Diablo4.life, Helltides.com, and MapGenie. If you manage to kill three World Bosses each week, you will receive a special cache and have a better chance of getting premium Loot.

In Skogren, the World Chiefs arena is known as Caen Adal and is located north of the Kobach teleportation point. Quickly travel to this waypoint and then head directly north to Caen Adar, which is about a minute's drive away. Or, if traveling here from Thuriga, head northwest through Emerald Chase and then turn eastbound just before the ruins of Karokrest.

Unique Chiefs in the Skogren Map
Players can encounter more than a dozen unique elites in Diablo 4's main world. Each of these elites will drop a rare item on failure with some flavor text and the same set of stats, but of course with a different roll each time it drops. Some of these rare species can serve as a powerful base for Guardian infusions, making these rare elites worth hunting down.
