Unofficial Protoss news has revealed cool new details about the upcoming character Lynette's elemental skills and bursts. The character has been officially announced via the game's social media accounts, which means players can expect her to make her debut in Update 4.0. Players can prepare enough Genshin Impact Genesis Crystals in the game.

This Protoss update will finally introduce the long-awaited Fontaine nation, which has been rumored for the past few months. According to their latest promotional video, 4.0 will put two new characters in the spotlight: Lynette and her brother Lyney.

A new official video titled "Prelude Trailer: The Last Feast" reveals several different characters that will be added to the playable roster, including Lynette, a four-star character who is the first to appear in the promotional video and who has been confirmed to be working with her brother Lyney. Described as a "versatile magical assistant," the character is confirmed as an Anemo user, unlike her brother Lyney, who carries Pyro Vision. A reliable leaker named merlin_impact has provided more information about Lynette's entire kit, including her elemental skills, bursts and talents. According to the leak, Lynette's elemental skill is named "Mystic Feint" and has a hold and press variation. Tapping this skill will cause Lynette to perform an attack called "Mystic Thrust" that deals wind god damage and restores some life.

Holding this skill will cause the Anemo user to enter the Steal Shadow state, applying Shadow Strike to nearby enemies. After exiting this state, Lynette will launch an Enigma Thrust attack. If the enemy is affected by the Shadow Wings effect, she will rush at them before using Enigma Thrust. Because of the deep connection in the story, many fans hope that Lynette and her brother Lyney will create great synergy.

Lynette's Elemental Burst will cause her to raise her cloak and deal AoE Anemo damage and spawn a giant Bogglecat Box which has a variety of effects. This box will taunt nearby enemies and apply additional Wind God damage. If this box comes into contact with Water, Freeze, Electricity, or Flame Soldier, it deals more elemental damage by firing Vivid Shot. It should be noted, however, that Bogglecat Box can only inject one element per cast.
