Málokterému vyznavači žánru RPG nic neříká jméno Final Fantasy. Světoznámá série za dobu své existence přesáhla již dávno počtem pokračování číslovku deset a nezdá se, že by autoři měli v úmyslu s vývojem skončit. Každá legenda má ale někde svůj počátek a právě první ze všech dílů nyní přichází na obrazovky mobilních telefonů. Pamětníci tak budou ve výhodě, ale ani “nováčci” se rozhodně neztratí.
Na začátku vybíráte své 4 hrdiny, každý z nich může zastávat jedno z šesti “povolání” - od bojovníka, přes zloděje, mnicha, až po 3 různé typy mágů (bílý, černý a poněkud netradiční rudý). Jednotlivé profese mají samozřejmě své výhody a nevýhody, což jistě milovníci RPG her už dávno vědí. První úkol je pro pravé hrdiny světla (což ti vaši samozřejmě JSOU) naprosto “triviální”. Však kdo jiný by se měl ujmout záchrany královské dcery z rukou temného rytíře? Jakmile bude princezna bezpečně zpět v paláci, král vám projeví svou vděčnost obnovou mostu, čímž vám otevře cestu do zbytku země a zadá vám i hlavní úkol - naplnit krystaly (které máte od začátku) světlem a zahnat tak sílící zlo. (Konečně nějaká výzva!)
Vlastní hra vypadá následovně - shora vidíte postavičku, reprezentující celou vaši skupinu. Během téměř nekonečného, zdlouhavého (a někdy neuvěřitelně nudného) putování po mapě se dostanete nejen do jiných měst, ale hlavně natrefíte na pěknou řádku příšer všech druhů a tvarů. Nepřátel je k dispozici skutečně úctyhodné množství - od goblinů, vlků, ogrů, přes různé gigantické pavouky a škorpiony... A to výčet zdaleka není úplný. Jako v každém RPG ze zabitých nepřátel získáváte peníze a zkušenost. Čím více zkušenosti, tím vyšší úroveň postavy, tím více kouzel dokáží čarodějové vyvolat atd... Opravdu (s největší pravděpodobností) nic, co by znalci žánru neznali.
Jak jsem již psal výše, někdy je putování neuvěřitelně nudné. Děj se odvíjí velmi pomalu a často jsem si říkal, že než se děj jakkoliv, kamkoliv, posune, dozajista s mobilem v ruce obrostu mechem.
Technické zpracování vychází z původní předlohy (která je mimochodem z roku 1987) a je to na něm (v malinko negativním slova smyslu) znát. Grafika svému účelu sice poslouží, přesto už jsme ale z našich telefonů zvyklí na vyšší standard - je totiž velice jednoduchá. Velkou pochvalu si ale zaslouží grafické efekty kouzel - ty jsou zpracované perfektně. Zvukový doprovod si můžete zvolit buď hudební nebo klasické doprovodné efekty. Hudba si mě získala faktem, že odpovídá aktuální herní situaci, byť rozhodně nepatří k tomu nejlepšímu, co jsme na mobilech slyšeli. Doprovodné efekty nemají čím překvapit a po chvíli jsem se raději vrátil zpět k hudbě.
Dlouho jsem uvažoval, co napsat závěrem. Final Fantasy totiž rozhodně není hrou pro každého, ale vysloveně pro fanoušky RPG žánru. “Normální hráče” by totiž dříve či později zdlouhavost děje nutně začala nudit. A srovnám - li hru s mladší konkurencí, např. s Gothic 3 (které považuji za jedno z nejlepších mobilních RPG všech dob), nevyšla by z takového souboje Final Fantasy právě vítězně. Přesto se jedná o nadprůměrnou hru a své vavříny si v minulosti vydobyla právem. Všem fandům žánru doporučuji.
